The Ethereum community has taken proactive measures, including a treasury vote within ENS DAO, an incentives vote within Arbitrum (one of the largest layer 2 solutions), and organizing vampire attacks within two influential staking communities, Diva and Swell. Additionally, the protocols, which had previously ignored a strong response from the broader Ethereum community, now sought help from that very community to establish new bridging standards. This need arose after a significant bridge incident involving the wstETH token rendered these protocols vulnerable. These collective actions underline the community's determination to maintain Ethereum's decentralization and resilience, showcasing their commitment to safeguarding the network against external threats.
