Rocket Pool hit a major milestone when the number of node operators reached 2000. This event is considered a huge success for the protocol and demonstrates its ability to maintain growth over time. The community celebrated this achievement as a sign of the protocol's strength and potential for future success. Community members, ramana and waqwaqattack were able to form a shrimp marriage to officially create the 2,000th node. This POAP is meant to commemorate The Merge on the Ethereum protocol. We, the fine people of r/ethfinance, have been counting down the days to this historical event. Literally. Everyday u/Moschus11 has been posting a countdown to the estimated merge date and the fellow subredditors have been upvoting, downvoting, correcting, criticising, reviewing, validating his best guess.
