This POAP commemorates the mergening of /r/ethfinance and /r/ethereum. Now the hallowed Ethfinance Daily is a front-page feature within /r/ethereum! Collectors of this POAP made a donation of ~$5 of ETH to the Protocol Guild. /r/ethereum is now a mullet: Ethereum tech on the front page and price action (and more) in the daily. After many years of progress and a lengthy approval process, Spot Ethereum Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) opened for trading on July 23, 2024. The SEC approved eight ETFs, including the Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust (ETH), Franklin Ethereum ETF (EZET), VanEck Ethereum ETF (ETHV), Bitwise Ethereum ETF (ETHW), 21Shares Core Ethereum ETF (CETH), Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH), BlackRock's (BLK) iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) and the Invesco Galaxy Ethereum ETF (QETH). Funds raised from this POAP will go to Aestus. The Aestus MEV-Boost Relay is a neutral, non-censoring relay, which emerged from conversations between members of the EthFinance and EthStaker communities who see the need to develop credibly neutral architecture for the Ethereum staking ecosystem. On April 17, 2024, numerous RP node operators discovered their eligibility for the Omni airdrop, thanks to haloooloolo's assistance. Though haloooloolo himself wasn't eligible for the airdrop, the RP community deeply appreciates his invaluable support! All proceeds of this POAP go directly to halooooloolo.

Morale was notably subdued in the Rocket Pool Discord as the RPL/ETH ratio plummeted to a mere 0.00925. However, optimism started to emerge as RPL holders gained confidence in the forthcoming developments, particularly bolstered by Valdorff's recently unveiled tokenomics vision. Confident node operators rallied together to underscore their faith in the protocol. This POAP was bestowed upon RPL node operators who actively engaged in the call to action and staked RPL between February 22 and February 27, 2024.

On Dec 1st, 2023, Waq hosted his 300th episode of Rocket Fuel - his daily news show about the Rocket Pool community and protocol. In celebration, Waq donated $3000 to the RPL Benefactor, a member of the Rocket Pool community known for distributing RPL to community members. Waq donated the money with the caveat that the whole community must rally to reach $10,000 in total donations. Once that amount was reached, the RPL Benefactor would distribute the RPL to members of the community. However, if that amount was not reached by Dec 1st, the RPL/eth/whatever would be sent back to donors. This POAP was part of the fundraising drive to reach the $10,000 target. This POAP was sold using POAP checkout with the aim of reaching $10,000. The people who bought the POAP donated $100 (the cost of the POAP) to the RPL Benefactor for them to distribute to the RP community. In donating their money, they became the RPL Benefactor This POAP was created by Shfryn, and it was distributed by Waq through POAP checkout.

To boost everyone's spirits in the Rocket Pool community, our esteemed friend Ramana threw an RPL buying bash from September 22nd to September 24th.
