Collaborations with external partners may lead to joint legal rights for compounds and data, which may restrict reusage in other projects. With the increasing number of collaborations at Bayer and with advancing time, memories of the project details fade, and reconstruction of the status will be nearly impossible. I've met Miriam during a DS&AI meeting in May 2023 in Madrid. She works as a Data Steward within Data Strategy and Governance in the group Proprietary Information Management. She is a (computational) chemist by training and has particular experience with our chemical labjournal data.

I studied piano performance and toxicology, and am now Master Data Manager at Bayer Pharma in the R&D Master Data Management team of Data Science & AI. I am passionate about team collaboration and rowing. Currently, I'm co-leading the IDMP Ontology, an international cross-industry project with 12 pharma companies for the unique identification of medicinal products to ensure patient safety. Aaron works at the intersection of science and IT. He has just joined DS & AI as a Product Owner Preclinical, where he will be responsible for introducing digital products that help scientists and advance the R&D strategy within RED Oncology and preMED. He has had multiple roles within IT over his seven years at Bayer, supporting Pharma scientists from research to early development. Prior to joining Bayer he performed doctoral and postdoctoral research in neurobiology, and worked for an R&D-focused software vendor.
