You have witnessed an Artifact for Slaying Moloch and have become a part of this narrative experiment in fashion, coordination, and time. Moloch is the god of coordination failure and this project seeks to find new methods to defeat him through shared rituals. Each Artifact for Slaying Moloch exists as a trinity of linked forms: 1) a physical garment, 2) an NFT permanently stored on Arweave, and 3) a collective witness provenance ledger appendable via an AR portal triggered from a scan of the physical garments during community events. As a regenerative use of a cultural heritage site, DAOPalace is an event where we come together with the intention of deliberation, building and deploying solutions that benefit the future of humanity. DAO Palace is a two-week research residency where we probe questions, challenge each others assumptions and our own assumptions, debate guidelines, philosophies, and standards.
