Metabolic Studio's Summer Alignment Series is composed of a total of six gatherings, under the Broadway Bridge in the Anabolic. These conversations are being hosted in conjunction with the corn that we are growing to cleanse the soil in preparation to receive the water we will be lifting out of the Los Angeles River. This water will flow into a new river onto the area that was once covered, and will be again, with floodplain. The Anabolic corn is irrigated with water that has been harvested during rainy season from our industrial rooftops, stored in 5000-gallon barrels and cleansed in a series of portable wetlands. First Tuesdays at Quantum Space LA (POAP #2) Jeff Frost joins us to speak about time, sound, and 'celestial light painting.
