This week’s Community Hour celebrated the culmination of the Games on Microchains builder challenge! We announced the winners, showcased the standout submissions, and even played a few of the games live. From ultra-fast gameplay to creative mechanics powered by Linera’s microchains, it was a showcase of what real-time onchain gaming can look like ⛓️

This POAP commemorates our special Community Hour held on May 22, 2025—the 15th anniversary of Bitcoin Pizza Day 🍕. Together with Linera’s community of builders and believers, we explored the historical arc from early cryptography to peer-to-peer money to real-time microchains. Thanks for being here early. We kicked off our first POAP drop of 2025 during today’s Community Hour call! Danny Greene, our usual host, joined us to discuss the latest questing campaign with Galxe, which launched today. We covered the usual POAP raffle and claim process, along with our “Better, Faster, Linera” meme challenge—announcing winners and sharing all the creative submissions. We also reminded everyone about our internet tournaments and game nights. Since it’s the new year and we’re welcoming many new faces from the Galxe quest, we went over the basics of Linera, shared insights about our founder Mathieu Baudet, and encouraged everyone to join the quest (especially the one focused on learning about Linera). We emphasized how early everyone still is—our mainnet hasn’t even launched yet!
