The ETHPrague Conference unites builders, thinkers, and visionaries to reaffirm blockchain's foundational ideals: decentralization, trustless collaboration, and open-access innovation. In an era of accelerating complexity, we return to cryptographic primitives, consensus mechanisms, and protocol-layer integrity — not as ends in themselves, but as tools to rearchitect societal systems for fairness, resilience, and sustainability. Together, we confront existential challenges — from centralized AI governance to climate instability. ETHPrague's mission is to steward community culture towards opening ourselves to outside criticism and facing crucial reality checks on what we build towards. The future remains unwritten. By grounding progress in Ethereum's bedrock principles, we choose neither dystopia nor utopia, but a protocol-powered realism — one where technology serves humanity's deepest needs, not its shallowest wants. You witnessed a landmark conversation between Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web, and Vitalik Buterin, creator of Ethereum, at ETHPrague conference 2025!

Holders of this POAP celebrated Ethereum Mainnet's upgrade to Dencun. This eagerly anticipated upgrade is projected to reduce gas fees for Layer 2 networks, unlocking greater scaling for the Ethereum ecosystem. The address which minted this POAP participated in the KZG Summoning Ceremony: a publicly coordinated ritual to produce a random output. This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future. As of the time of writing, this ceremony was the largest setup of this kind when considering the number of contributions.

Thank you for attending Eth Prague on June 9, 10, and 11, 2023. The purpose of EETHPrague is to bring together the Ethereum and solarpunk communities to explore solarpunk philosophies, sustainable technological development, envision a sustainable future, build resilient communities, and enable environmental justice innovations. By fostering collaboration and creative thinking, the event aims to create a brighter future rooted in blockchain innovation and sustainability. ETHPrague aims to harness the potential of Ethereum technology and human creativity to shape a more equitable and sustainable future. By focusing on solarpunk concepts and encouraging collaboration, they hope to inspire new ideas and solutions that prioritize sustainability and community. This conference will feature presentations, panels, and fireside chats from both Ethereum and solarpunk sustainability experts, as well as other entertainment, including a concert with local musicians playing authentic instruments. The POAP will be distributed to real-life attendees at the registration desk throughout the event.
