The first cohort of the Artists of Color Accelerate Initiative is a bridge-building vehicle of cultural ambassadorship to dismantle systemic racism in the arts and establish a regional artists of color network and economy. Our vision is that through this work, Hartford will become known as a community that produces and exports cutting-edge cultural arts. Blending Art, Technology, and Advocacy, NFTs offer a solution for building generational wealth, legacy, and fan engagement.
Black Futures Week 2022 celebrated paying respects to our past while looking forward to our future. This year as NFTs continue to take off, Hartford enjoys our Renaissance in digital art and music, cryptocurrency, Metaverse, and Blockchain's utility in our businesses. We heard a panel titled, Crypto, Blockchain for Your Business featuring Key Bookstore, MC "The Satoshi of Music," Mr. Uwaga, and Coinbridge Partners. We held Black Tech Futures Media's 51st consecutive episode and celebrated the Official Release of "PoliTricks and Riddim" by MC!
