Digital Art Day Malaga (DAD Malaga 2024), organized by the Fundación Alma Gil in partnership with the Carmen Thyssen Museum, is a conference dedicated to digital art, a rapidly emerging form of artistic expression that has become central to the evolving art world. The event featured thought-provoking discussions on generative art and AI, with contributions from some of the most influential and pioneering artists who are pushing the boundaries of technology-driven creativity. Participants included Ana Maria Caballero, Anna Carreras, Iskra Velitchkova, Findacode, Marcelo Soria Rodriguez, Soliman Lopez, William Latham, Ivona Tau, Operator, Look Highward, Qian Qian, and Zancan. The event also hosted industry experts like Dian Pan, CTO of MoMA New York, Georg Bak, founder of ARTMETA Art Basel, Mariano Giralt, former head of BONY Mellon and financial advisor, Sussan Modjtahedi from The Collectorsā Club, and Eleonora Brizi, curator at MakersPlace, a leading platform in the digital art space.
