I passed through Tbilisi International Airport in Tbilisi, Georgia in 2026, and I got to mint this pretty POAP! TBS was designed by German architects and opened in 2007. Today it is one of the first major pieces of modern, Western-style infrastructure in post-Soviet Georgia -- a symbol of the country's rapid modernization push in the 2000s. This POAP was minted in 2026 as part of a campaign to offer precious digital collectibles to travellers around the world.

In 2026, the beloved ritual of receiving an inked passport stamp at a country’s port of entry is fading into the rearview mirror. Much of North America and Asia-Pacific stopped issuing stamps years ago, and Europe’s Schengen region is now transitioning to a fully digital, biometric entry-and-exit system, leaving travelers without a physical reminder of where they’ve been.
