Early in 2022, Tom Lehman and PIV founded Capsule 21, a platform where they explore experimental, derivative and on-chain art. In their project OC Marilyns PFP, they put CryptoPunks in the context of Pop Art. In essence it’s a 25K PFP collection generated by code from nothing more than CryptoPunk colors and one single CryptoPunk (3725). All PFPs are embedded in large scale works, called the OC Marilyn Diptychs from which they can be minted
