Their Synthpop/Dance-pop/Electropop style is a blend of disco grooves, catchy melodies, and dreamy synthesizers. In 2013, Coconut Sunday won Season 3 of Thailand’s biggest national music contest, Chang Music Contest. In 2014, “Pa-Wung [Day Dream],” their first single from 2012, received attention from a group of Japanese music event organizers, which resulted in their first opportunity to play abroad at Live House’D Osaka Japan. That experience inspired the beginning of writing and recording international songs. In December, 2017, Coconut Sunday released their debut album, “When the Night Seems so Long,” which earned them a nomination for Best New Artist at the 29th Season Awards. Season Magazine is one of Thailand’s biggest and longest established music magazines. In December, 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the band released a new single, “Run My Race,” a song about hope, taking chances and pursuing dreams. The single became a recommended song on the streaming platform, Joox Thailand.
