Founder Mathieu Baudet announced Conway—the third phase of Linera’s testnet—and detailed what shipped: microchains with ~200 ms blocks and sub-second UX, SDK 0.15 with experimental events, a faster faucet via sparse clients, and the on-chain Game of Life game and points program. Our wallet partner Dynamic (our first!) walked through day-one flows: sign in with email/OAuth/passkey for a non-custodial embedded wallet, or connect an external wallet via WalletConnect (MetaMask supported). This week’s Community Hour POAP celebrates an in-depth focus on DeFi on Linera, following our Tuesday Developer Workshop featuring founder Mathieu Baudet, host Danny Greene, and community builder Zhao KK. We explored how Linera’s microchain architecture unlocks ultra-low-latency, end-to-end secure DeFi—including RFQs, real-time orderbooks, peer-to-peer swaps, and auction-style protocols—all scalable via user-owned and temporary chains.
