The sound is a fine blend of Funk, Rock, R&B, and Jazz. Specialists’ sound is centered around layered guitar and vocals, driving electric bass, and a contagious groove. Specialists were founded in Upstate New York and have relocated to New York City. Specialists’ debut album No Need to Explode, released in April of 2018, is an eclectic and prolific mix of songs from their beginnings. The sophomore album, Specialists, released June of 2019, is a funky and well-rounded display of the group’s songwriting and musicality. The group’s third release, Too Easy, is their most refined release. The EP will take you on a journey through sonic space. The backbeat, paired with the production, performance, and arrangement seamlessly presents peak listener satisfaction. Their newest single, Head in My Hand is the first single off their upcoming project. It is a psychedelic funk adventure that will lead you to an alt-rock release of euphoria. JASMINFIRE is a painter, recording artist and creative DJ who combines poetic lyricism with violin, cello, and Serato. Her live and recorded music ranges from light and meditative to trancelike and provocative, centering around powerful messages of self love, mental health, and the intricacies of relationships. After expressing much heartbreak and isolation detailed on her debut Baby Jazz EP (2019), her latest single, "Heart Chakra" (2021), celebrates affirmations of growth leading to a newfound soul liberation. Jasminfire began as “Charly”, a painter and violinist in the violin-viola group Chargaux (est. 2010) writing and releasing music the duo performed for fans, NYC high fashion brands, and tech events. From 2012-2016 Chargaux performed their original works at the White House, the Guggenheim, Lincoln Center, the MoMA, PAMM (Miami), ATL Jazz Fest, NYC Winter Jazz Fest, and the Roots Picnic. At the same time, they composed and stylized string arrangements for several albums by Kendrick Lamar (Good Kid m.a.a.d. City) and J Cole (2014 Forest Hills Drive, 4 Your Eyez Only, KOD) that all went on to earn Grammy nominations. Simultaneously Charly’s painting career also got alot of attention, showing at PULSE Art Fair, ArtHamptons, and debuting a solo exhibit at Catinca Tabacaru Gallery in LES. Chargaux disbanded in 2017 and in 2018 “Charly” moved to LA for a gap year, where she participated as an orchestral member of Beyonce’s historic Homecoming performance at Coachella (Beychella). She also continued exploring larger format canvas paintings, selling to private collectors. Most recently, Jasmifnire recorded herself as an entire orchestra for Kid Cudi’s newly released documentary on Amazon Prime. Leo grew up singing in churches, alongside his three siblings and both parents. In middle school, his dad converted the downstairs of his office building into a recording studio for him and his siblings. In that studio, Leo would begin his music journey. He spent years writing and developing his craft, resulting in his 2018 debut single, “Woah” (feat. Muwosi), which gained him immediate notoriety. He’s established himself as a force in the Cincinnati music community, resulting in nominations for the Cincinnati Entertainment Awards and regular live performances. His independent releases have over one-million streams, and he’s currently working on a 2022 release. Leo is also a member of the Detroit-based band, Hard Car Kids, and a graphic design student.
