The address which minted this POAP participated in the KZG Summoning Ceremony: a publicly coordinated ritual to produce a random output. This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future. As of the time of writing, this ceremony was the largest setup of this kind when considering the number of contributions.

Rocket Pool is hitting mainnet on October 6th after 4 years of development time! As such, the Rocket Pool community has organized a series of POAPs and raffles honoring communities that share a similar ethos to Rocket Pool. The Sushi community has been incredibly important for Rocket Pool as a DEX, but also shares our ethos of pushing permissionless decentralization to its limits. May this POAP be a sign of a fruitful future for both communities.

One year ago today the POOL token was distributed decentralizing control of PoolTogether! In one of the most community centric distributions ever, 15% of all POOL tokens were given to all depositors on day 1. Since then community ownership has only increased. This POAP belongs to the POOL token holders that govern the PoolTogether protocol.
