You found LOGIK in Los Angeles, CA during NFTLA 2022! NFTs have changed LOGIK's course as an artist because it has introduced his art to collectors who otherwise may never have had a chance to see his work. He has connected with web3/NFT creators and communities in Chicago, New York, Denver, Mexico City, Germany, London, Canada, Miami and LA; meeting artists and community-builders in real life strengthens the bonds we all build online. Two weeks ago he quit his job at Google as a Creative Director to pursue his life as an artist and entrepreneur full-time. Shoutout to NFTs!

Ahead of this week's exhibit on generative art with Artsy and Vellum LA, Aya + Patricia El will join us on 3/22/22 to share their work, and how they use generative tools to forge a path for new languages in the realm of digital art and beyond. Aya is a multi-hyphenate creative, Artificial Intelligence (AI) artist, data scientist, and poetic meditation teacher; she co-creates with AI to generate visuals inspired by storytelling. Aya will discuss the development process of her two NFT collections: Restorative Afrofuturism and Generating Binti Worlds. Patricia El works across immersive technologies, social justice, audio-visual poetics, and storytelling to explore forms of collective (and personal) liberation, digital protest, and equity in the machine age. "Parker Day's ICONS invites us to approach identity with a sense of play and malleability, and to recognize the forgotten parts of ourselves as we see them reflected in these color-saturated portraits." ICONS is the first curation by SuperchiefNFT on the Quantum Art platform.
