Disruptive technologies such as blockchain are finding many useful applications in society, but it remains to be seen if it will contribute to making global value chains more efficient and environmentally sustainable, or what risks may emerge. Others believe that digital tokens are key to expanding economic opportunities for a wider section of society. In this session our panelists will discuss and decrypt the applications and implications of such technology.

This historical project helped shape the NFT ecosystem as it exists today, receiving mention in the first NFT token standard drafts.
