Ether crosses $4k on March 11, 2024
2024-03-11
Ether first crossed $4,000 in October 2021, at the time it was near the end of a wild bull run. Today we passed $4k for the second time, nearly 30 months later, with a totally new perspective: this feels more like the beginning of a new bull cycle than the end of one. Congratulations to developers, operators, and community members who worked hard to bring value to Ether. Art by /u/Few-Bake-6463, POAP developed by superphiz.

Embedding decentralization as the core principle across each layer of Web3 remains as critical as ever. Across a series of topics, we dive into how projects continue to enforce decentralization across the Web3 stack. How can networks continue to improve their resilience against centralizing forces? What is the evolving role of bridges in the multi-chain universe, and how can they balance trustlessness with efficiency & security? How will scalability solutions evolve and where are the key points-of-centralization to address? Self-custody has been a long-time hurdle for casual users. How do projects utilizing account abstraction see their role in changing this and how they will interact with centralized services? End-user applications must appeal to a broader audience, but do these users care about decentralization? If not, should we make them care? Hosted by Factor x Gnosis Builders Speakers from POAP, DiVa, HOPR, Connext, Li.Fi, Specular, Risc0, Linen Wallet, Safe, Scroll, zkCollective and others.
