The Lunar New Year is celebrated by many cultures, including those from China, Vietnam, Korea, Malaysia. Those celebrating ring in the new year of the rabbit, or the cat in Vietnam. The Lunar New Year is a time for people to come together and celebrate with their loved ones. People often welcome the Lunar New Year by lighting fireworks, eating traditional foods, and giving red envelopes in hopes of bringing luck and prosperity.
