New York artist and sand painter, known as "The Sandman" Joe Mangrum presents a solo exhibition of permanent sand paintings on canvas and wood. The exhibit includes exciting original paintings, utilizing Mangrum’s signature technique of binding colored sand on canvas and carved-relief wood panels. Mangrum’s work combines a rich library of cultural patterns fusing symbols from nature, science and technology in spontaneous abstract compositions.
