The address which minted this POAP participated in the KZG Summoning Ceremony: a publicly coordinated ritual to produce a random output. This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future. As of the time of writing, this ceremony was the largest setup of this kind when considering the number of contributions.

The Ropsten Testnet successfully merged the Execution and Consensus clients on June 8, 2022. This initial public testnet merge is an important technical milestone for the Ethereum network that paves the way for other testnets and the Mainnet merge. Holders of this POAP showed their support of the Ethereum protocol by sending 1 dollar of value to Protocol Guild within the specified time ranges on the day of the testnet merge. The cumulative amount raised is over $11,000, which will be disbursed directly to the Ethereum Core Developers. I met a frenly ghost at ETH Amsterdam 2022

ETHAmsterdam will host a DeSci Day on April 20th, 2022 at the BOOM Theatre. The event will include talks, panels, pitches and demos from projects and leaders in the DeSci space, along with social events in the evening. A panel discussion at Schelling Point will address the link between Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), social impact, and scientific innovation.
