Inaugural mint to commemorate the launch of the Public Goods Network (PGN), an L2 aimed at revolutionizing the funding of global public goods. This POAP celebrates the pioneering participants who minted the first ever PGN NFT on Zora in July 2023, marking the launch of PGN's mainnet. This foundational NFT, symbolizes the commitment of our community to foster and finance initiatives that support public goods. Eligibility for this POAP is exclusively granted to those who engaged directly in the minting of this inaugural NFTs, directly contributing to the kickoff of PGN. This digital token serves not only as a token of appreciation but as a lasting memento of the role our community played in the early stages of a network designed to support and sustain public goods projects across the globe. In the afternoon of January 9th of 2024, the SEC thought we weren't having enough fun so they tendered us an unbelievable series of events that made life feel like science fiction. Sergito.eth paged Arsonic.eth in the cryptopunks Telegram to make a POAP to celebrate and here we are :) This POAP will be an open edition available to mint for a couple days, and one lucky collector will be awarded a Sgt Pepe masterpiece, created by Arsonic in Late 2022.

The address which minted this POAP participated in the KZG Summoning Ceremony: a publicly coordinated ritual to produce a random output. This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future. As of the time of writing, this ceremony was the largest setup of this kind when considering the number of contributions.
