I'm an award-winning travel photographer and writer who turned to travel journalism after working as a US Navy Sailor and a Fortune 500 brand manager. I've been working with magazines, brands, and tourism boards as a travel photographer for the past 6 years. You can find my work in National Geographic Traveller, TIME, Conde Nast Traveler, BBC Travel, Lonely Planet, and various other publications. Some of my past assignments took me to sharing a roof with nomads in Mongolia, tracing the origins of Iznik tiles with artisans in Turkey and learning the art of Imigongo with artist collectives in Rwanda. My work blurs the lines between street photography, documentary photography, travel photography, and art. I believe in the power of travel to build bridges rather than walls and aim to produce work that sparks a deeper understanding of people and places around the world and ultimately, instills a sense of wonder in the audience.
