Welcome to the next ShimaAcademy event, a #Shima Community Spaces focused on learning #web3security. Maximus & Zelotes from the Metashima fam will talk you through the wallet basics today and how to stay safe in #web3. In this screenshare session they will explain the difference between hot and cold wallets, public and private addresses, wallet import and export, how to connect a ledger with Metamask and why it is tough to execute a 'perfect' wallet strategy. At the end of the session there will be the opportunity to talk about recent scams and how to learn from them. This is the second session of our security event series in August. Within four events every Monday, we'll provide useful best-practice information on how to secure your wallet and stuff in web3.
