By leveraging Byron, the exchange within our company becomes more seamless, paving the way for new projects and strengthening our unity within Bayer. 🚀 Presenting this exclusive POAP as a massive thank you, because without you, this platform wouldn't be what it is. 🙌 Byron, an acronym for Bayer Open Network, is our Skills database for Bayer employees, including speed networking. We kicked off in 2018 as a True North grassroots side initiative, going live in 2020. Created by over 40 students and programming enthusiasts with the help of EY Croatia. Today, we have 13,000 registered users from 89 countries, in 293 cities. People have searched for something in Byron at least 25,000 times and engaged in 31,000 1:1 Speed network meetings. http://go/byron Looking ahead, we're thrilled about the future and the prospect of our community growing even larger. AWS car racing event @Bayer to learn and connect artificial intelligence enthusiasts. On June 21, 2023, Bayer will participate in an AWS-organized DeepRacer event. In 4 hours, teams will program small cars using machine learning algorithms to race in tracks and compete to win. From their website, it is a “cloud-based 3D racing simulator, fully autonomous 1/18th scale race car driven by reinforcement learning”. A fun way and excellent opportunity to get hands-on experience in machine learning. The main events will run in Berlin, São Paulo, and St. Louis, and many colleagues will participate remotely in the race from other cities not only in Germany, but also in Poland, Spain, and other countries. You can support the event with logistics or learn some machine learning and be a participant, or just be there to meet other AI / data scientists from other departments, since many colleagues from Marketing, R&D, IT, Product Supply, Controlling, Facility Management, and Site Security, are co-organizing or participating in this. If you received this POAP, you participated in the Launch Event of the German Chapter of the Bayer Community for Spanish and Portuguese speaking colleagues during the Bayer Community Days 2022. By expanding its footprint to Germany, UNIDOS aims to further build on its mission: Create a vibrant community celebrating the Hispanic and Latin culture and its contributions. Rodrigo Santos, President of Bayer Crop Science, and Fernando Carro, Managing Director of the popular professional football club Bayer 04 Leverkusen, will join the online event and participate in a panel discussion about the role of Hispanic and Latin culture in managing successful organizations.

Meet the communities within the Bayer world to get to know them and to learn how you can join and benefit from their work. Attend the kick-off event of Bayer’s Hispanic Community UNIDOS with Rodrigo Santos, Head of the Crop Science Division on the Board of Management of Bayer AG. Participate in the panel discussions between communities and external guests with focus on: - the role of transformational innovation at Bayer - the impact of communities at Bayer - how to embrace mindfulness in your work life - how to shape your personal and professional development We will start every day around 12 pm CET and offer multiple sessions until 4 or 5 pm CET.
