Rocket Pool has rolled out Smart Node version 1.13.0, fully equipped for the imminent Houston upgrade! Notable features entail the integration of an On-Chain pDAO (RPIP-33), the capability to stake ETH on behalf of nodes (RPIP-32), a designated RPL Withdrawal Address (RPIP-31), and time-based balance and RPL price submissions (RPIP-35). Node operators who promptly update within 24 hours are rewarded with a POAP.

On March 11, 2024, Rocket Pool launched Smartnode version 1.11.9, a crucial update for all users. It's especially necessary if you haven't upgraded to v1.11.8 or if you're using MEV-Boost v1.6. It's recommended for everyone to update, as it ensures compatibility with Dencun and includes various enhancements and bug fixes across all clients.
