During the Internship at the Pharma headquarters from Bayer in Berlin, we have learnt a lot about the facility and how it is to work at one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world. We got a tour around the whole terrain and also some insights like to the fire department and the energy center where we learnt a lot about the goals and achievements the company has made with its energy savings. Together Women Can is a social intrapreneurship initiative at Boehringer Ingelheim and non-profit organisation with the mission to end cervical cancer in Kenya. With our partners we provided 3000 vulnerable women access to cervical cancer prevention and sexual health education in Uasin Gishu County in Kenya. We aim to scale our project to other counties in Kenya by combining access to healthcare and women economic empowerment to empower women to take charge of their own health.
