On April 30th, 2022, Yuga Labs release 55,000 virtual plots of land for 305 Ape coin each. These Otherdeed mints cause gas prices to soar in an epic gas war with mints averaging over 6,000 gwei. #Trading watched with amusement as more than $150 million dollars worth of ETH was burned during this mint.

In March 2022, Joe Clapis from the Rocket Pool team began work on a Terminal User Interface that provided support for easy client switching during runtime using the graphical interface. While this Terminal UI is still regarded as an alpha product, the value to the community is extremely high as it allows Rocket Pool node operators to continuously contribute to client diversity and help to ensure good client balance on the network. This POAP serves to commemorate this great effort towards decentralisation and to appreciate how Rocket Pool has consistently acted as a public good on the beacon chain. To memorialize Jasper's (jasperthefriendlyghost.eth) efforts in setting up the Curve rETH/wstETH pool. Midnight saw this pool go live and with it, a huge influx of deposits, which triggered a spree of over $20 million TVL in the Curve pool and the creation of 236 minipools. This is a POAP for everyone who commented on the Rocket Pool discord on March 10th, 2022. This day will be remembered as a key catalyst in the growth of the Rocket Pool protocol. Thanks Jasper!
