The Ethereum Community Conference (EthCC) is the largest annual European Ethereum event focused on technology and community. Four intense days of conferences, networking and learning.

Thanks for joining us we discussed how Oracles are the bridge between the blockchain and the real world, enabling smart contracts to interact with external data sources. Yet despite their critical importance, oracles are often under-discussed. This event aims to demystify their functionality, applications, and future potential. Moderated by Renee Francis the event featured Dave from API3 and Ben from Monad Labs along with the usual networking with a community of like-minded peers.

Thanks for attending the first Far(away)Con, a 1-day Farcon satellite event in London designed to celebrate and connect Farcasters in the UK and Europe who can’t make it to Venice Beach, LA in May. Hosted at a16z offices in Soho we networked and covered topics from building to growing and earning on Farcaster before heading to a local boozer pub for drinks to cap off a great day.

The address which minted this POAP participated in the KZG Summoning Ceremony: a publicly coordinated ritual to produce a random output. This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future. As of the time of writing, this ceremony was the largest setup of this kind when considering the number of contributions.

Holders of this POAP celebrated Ethereum Mainnet's upgrade to Dencun. This eagerly anticipated upgrade is projected to reduce gas fees for Layer 2 networks, unlocking greater scaling for the Ethereum ecosystem.
