I wanted to show an ether crystal - a genesis block - sprouting and sparking all this organic flourishing of life, stories, ideas. There are a multitude of colours to show the diversity of our beings. I drew the design by hand and was inspired by french enamelware, which is beautiful yet hard-wearing, and the designs of William Morris - British artist, poet, and socialist activist.
