AR Kid is a decentralized network of artists and art collectives who come together each year for SXSW to create a world of exciting artistic experiences, including live music and a metaverse treasure hunt across the city of Austin. This year, AR Kid is partnered with University College Dublin (UCD) to help support up-and-coming artists and metaverse developers in the space by showcasing their skills across Austin, Texas, and the UCD campus. Through this partnership, AR Kid and UCD will provide a platform for emerging artists and developers to share their work with a wider audience and gain valuable exposure. Another popular feature of AR Kid is the live music stage. Each year, AR Kid features a line-up of emerging and established musicians from around the world. The stage provides a platform for artists to showcase their work and connect with new audiences. AR Kid is a unique and innovative event that is pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the art world. By combining cutting-edge technology with the creativity of artists from around the globe, AR Kid is creating a world of exciting and immersive experiences for everyone to enjoy. In addition to the metaverse treasure hunt and live music, AR Kid also features a variety of other events and activities. Made by The Megacity, Hexidized, Metagate, Ardoda, GorillAR

This coincidence of biography and cultural evolution led to his fascination with technologically derived aesthetics. Santiago’s work utilizes code as a creative driver. He employs mathematical principles, physic simulations, genetic algorithms, and AI to manipulate machine-interpretable routines. Santiago regards coding as a form of transhumanistic poetry, a common ground between humans and machines, and his creative work centers around questions of technology’s synthetic nature, relation to society, and role in the evolution of the human species. https://linktr.ee/_santiago_
