ETHAmsterdam will host a DeSci Day on April 20th, 2022 at the BOOM Theatre. The event will include talks, panels, pitches and demos from projects and leaders in the DeSci space, along with social events in the evening. A panel discussion at Schelling Point will address the link between Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), social impact, and scientific innovation. Limited tickets are available for attendees. This event was put together by DeSci.eth and is the second DeSci conference following the heels of DeSci@ethDenver. WTF is a Holo? Holonym is a decentralized protocol for verifying authentication tokens that prove ownership of an account and associating them with a user's cryptographic keys. This project emerged out of a need to create a decentralized identity registry for scientists in the Web3 ecosystem. A call to action was made at DeSci@ethDenver hackathon on February 14th, 2022. Three hackathon prizes later, OpSci is proud to launch a prototype at DeSci Day during ethAmsterdam. Attendees holding this POAP will qualify for free account verification and entry into the DeSci registry and placed on an early adopters list.
