I've met Franziska at the Bayer Sommerfest 2023, Friday 23rd June 2023 at Kulturbrauerei Berlin. Franziska participated as member of the Berlin Wedding Singers. You can meet and join the choir during their weekly rehearsals, every Tuesday 5:30 pm in the Byron Bar in Berlin. She is also member of PROSI Berlin, a PRO Social Initiative program that helps our local Bayer colleagues to actively engage in voluntary work by offering a simple and transparent way to do good together. Eine Gruppe junger Menschen verließ das Feuerwehr-Gebäude. Den Gesprächen nach, hatten sie an einer Erste-Hilfe-Schulung teilgenommen. Nun überquerten sie die Straße und der Weihnachtsmann folgte ihnen bis in ein großes rotes Ziegelsteingebäude. Offenbar war hier die Ausbildung untergebracht. Unauffällig erkundete er das Gebäude, entdeckte Ausbildungslabore, Büros und einen großen Pausenraum, in dem einige Azubis oder Studierende saßen. Er nickte ihnen freundlich zu und spitze die Ohren. Worüber sie sich wohl unterhielten? A group of young people left the fire brigade building. According to the conversations, they had participated in a first aid training. Now they crossed the street and Santa Claus followed them into a large red brick building. Apparently, this was where the vocational school was housed. Unobtrusively, he explored the building, discovering training labs, offices, and a large break room where some trainees or students were sitting. He nodded at them in a friendly manner and pricked up his ears. I wonder what they are talking about.

Auf der anderen Straßenseite stand ein Feuerwehrauto – so rot glänzend wie Rudolfs Nase. Der Weihnachtsmann ließ sich etwas zurückfallen und tippte an seine Nase. Schon stand er vor dem Fahrzeug. Offenbar hatten die Menschen in dieser Firma eine eigene Werkfeuerwehr – so wie er am Nordpol auch. Der Weihnachtsmann war ein großer Feuerwehrfan, außerdem wurde am Nordpol viel mit Holz gearbeitet und es brannten zahlreiche Kerzen, darum war das Weihnachtsmanndorf diesbezüglich gut aufgestellt – Brandschutz war das oberste Gebot. Fasziniert betrachtete der Mann mit dem weißen Bart den umfangreichen Fuhrpark. Er war begeistert! On the other side of the street was a fire truck - as shiny red as Rudolf's nose. Santa let himself fall back a little and tapped his nose. Promptly he was standing in front of the vehicle. Apparently, the people in this company had their own plant fire brigade - just like he did at the North Pole. Santa was a big fan of the fire brigade, and besides, they worked a lot with wood at the North Pole and burned a lot of candles, so Santa's village was well set up in that regard - fire safety was top priority. Fascinated the man with the white beard regarded the extensive fleet of vehicles. He was thrilled!
