This POAP recognizes holders of the EVMavericks NFT delivered to regular participants in the reddit.com/r/ethfinance subreddit. This POAP doesn't recognize the original recipients, rather, it recognizes those who held the NFT after the deployment was completed. The Ethereum Mainnet merged with the Beacon Chain proof-of-stake network on September 15, 2022. This marks the end of proof-of-work for Ethereum and a full transition to proof-of-stake. This historic upgrade is projected to reduce the Ethereum network's energy consumption by over 99% and sets the stage for future upgrades to further scale the Ethereum network.
