The Battery as a Critical Factor in E-Mobility - And How to Make It More Sutainable
The battery is at the heart of future mobility – it enables emission-free mobility, but it also brings its own challenges. This is because the resources for building lithium-ion batteries are limited – at the same time, they are predestined for innovative approaches to the circular economy. For this reason, topics such as recycling, or second-life management of batteries are increasingly coming into focus. In this presentation, we will show which technical and economic aspects need to be taken into account. You will also learn how digital twins can be used to monitor and optimize a battery – including static and dynamic data over the entire life cycle as well as permanent monitoring of the state of health and new predictive maintenance options. Update your expertise on electromobility. Mobility Services Stage M | 03:10 - 03:30 pm | Impulse Session
Cyber Security by Design - Challenge and Opportunity for Shop Floor 4.0
Sooner or later, every company will be hit by a cyber attack. To meet today's cyber security challenges, new detection mechanisms are needed in the fight against digital attackers. In this keynote presentation, we will show you how to undergo the ultimate security audit of your IT environment. At MHP, we fully rely on SpyDR from Hidden Objects. This is an automated framework with which all Windows systems located in the Active Directory can be quickly and easily scanned for attacker traces. SpyDR closes the gaps, especially in OT environments, that are not covered by classic AntiVirus or EDR solutions and where neither the installation of a software agent on assets nor a network appliance for traffic monitoring is possible. Whether your company has already been digitally compromised or is still under attack, we can provide you with sustainable cyber security support. How Co-Creation Can Get the Barbecue Started and Hook the Customer
Co-creation connects groups with specific challenges. The methodology is based on users creating added value on an equal footing – for example a product or service. The great benefit of co-creation is that all the experts involved have their own experience, meaning they can learn from each other. This method is so much more than just a good solution. At its heart, it aims to learn more about the needs and challenges of users. Multiple points of view result in new approaches to solutions that were not initially evident. If all co-creators work hand in hand, the result is often better than the sum of the individual services. This is true in both private and professional life. So at this introductory presentation, learn how to apply the co-creation value to your next barbecue and to hooking your customers. Autonomous Driving: Silver Bullet for Sustainable Mobility?
Tomorrow’s mobility will be autonomous – and so numerous OEMs and suppliers in the automotive industry are researching physical systems and digital applications that will enable vehicles to drive fully autonomously in the future. Expectations are high: The Volkswagen Group alone aims to generate around 30 percent of its revenue from autonomous driving services by 2030. But will autonomous driving become a game changer and an essential part of future mobility? Are the high investments and expectations justified? Will self-driving shuttles have a lasting positive impact on traffic? Based on exclusive primary data, metadata analyses and existing data from our projects, we develop various scenarios. This gives you a valid insight into the opportunities afforded by autonomous driving. We will also present the first results from the study of the same name that we are currently compiling with the Fraunhofer Institute and Motor Presse Stuttgart. It will then be published in full in the fall of 2022. Mobility Services Stage M | 01:35 - 01:55 pm | Impulse Session
Keep It Cool - Monitoring Cool Chains with the AWS Cloud
In the food and medical sectors, seamless monitoring of cold chains is essential – along the entire value chain. Companies are increasingly being supported in this challenging task by innovative cloud services. Particularly when dealing with time- and temperature-critical products, they open up the possibility of building Logistics 4.0 – the seamlessly networked logistics chain. This session takes you to Eberspächer, a leading provider of climate control systems. Together with MHP, it has implemented a cloud solution to monitor important measured variables of a company fleet and to be able to respond proactively to incidents. MHP provides the appropriate cloud architecture for this. Learn from this example how innovative cloud services can keep a cool head.
