Just over a year ago, the hype around the Metaverse was at its maximum. We all already saw ourselves in virtual worlds. In the meantime, however, the hype has receded and other topics have taken its place. So the question remains: What happened to the hype? And what is the metaverse actually? In the meantime, almost every VR world is called a metaverse, but is that true?
