After a successful first series of over 10 VIBE Coding hackathons in 2025, where teams tackled real business challenges using the power of generative AI, we showcased the best of the best. The finale featured a "Eurovision-style" video pitch competition, where winning teams from each hackathon presented their innovative solutions to a global audience and competed for the grand prize. Dynamic shared ownership and co-creation were crucial to our approach, and we introduced the IT PH Squad and its role as a cornerstone of our co-creation efforts.

On this day, Bayer business leaders from all divisions and enabling funtions pitched as "Lions" real-life business challenges. Their goal: to identify how we can support our patients better and rethink what’s possible. In close cooperation with our Bayer internal IT colleagues, our professional coders named "Champions" and GenAI the teams achieved real teangible solutions. “The future belongs to the brave, not the fainthearted.”

This POAP certifies your presence at the Pitch Day of the first Bayer US AI Hackathon, a Pharma Commercial initiative of rapid innovation, collaboration, and impact. On this day, Bayer Pharma’s US business leaders, the Lions, took the stage to pitch real-life business challenges. Their goal: to identify how we can support our patients better and rethink what’s possible. Facing them were internal IT colleagues, the Champions, who joined to explore how GenAI could help address these challenges. The Pitch Day set the foundation for forming project teams that will come together on Hackathon Day, June 17, to build and prototype solutions. “The future belongs to the brave, not the fainthearted.”
