Around October 30, 2025, Beaconcha.in data provided by Hildobby, showed that the share of validators on the Ethereum beacon chain operated by Lido had fallen below 22%. 22% is regarded as a critical threshold for entity size, because larger entities represent a centralization and governance risk to the network. We welcome Lido as an aligned actor and we celebrate the robustness of the beacon chain.

Celebrate History in the making with the EVMavericks as they get OpenSea blue check mark verified! This was thanks to IcoBeast.eth winning a bet with Clemente @Chilearmy123 where Clemente said he would "get a tattoo on his ass of IcoBeast's pfp if ETH broke a new ATH this year (2025)" In which it certainly did just a few months later. The bet took off on social media which lead to Opensea posting a tweet about it which inevitably lead them to verify the EVMavericks collection. Many OG EVMavericks know the struggle it was to go through the Opensea process to get blue check mark verified in the past and so becoming verified through a random bet online with an ass tattoo is very bittersweet! You were there on EFP waaaay back in 2024!

After many years of progress and a lengthy approval process, Spot Ethereum Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) opened for trading on July 23, 2024. The SEC approved eight ETFs, including the Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust (ETH), Franklin Ethereum ETF (EZET), VanEck Ethereum ETF (ETHV), Bitwise Ethereum ETF (ETHW), 21Shares Core Ethereum ETF (CETH), Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH), BlackRock's (BLK) iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) and the Invesco Galaxy Ethereum ETF (QETH). Funds raised from this POAP will go to Aestus. The Aestus MEV-Boost Relay is a neutral, non-censoring relay, which emerged from conversations between members of the EthFinance and EthStaker communities who see the need to develop credibly neutral architecture for the Ethereum staking ecosystem. This POAP was developed by superphiz.eth with input from nixorokish.eth, with art by electropillow.eth

The address which minted this POAP participated in the KZG Summoning Ceremony: a publicly coordinated ritual to produce a random output. This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future. As of the time of writing, this ceremony was the largest setup of this kind when considering the number of contributions.
