I passed through Barcelona-El Prat Airport in Barcelona, Spain in 2026, and I got to mint this pretty POAP! BCN is named for the nearby town of El Prat de Llobregat, and its super close to Barcelona. ZRH is the largest international airport in Switzerland, and a major hub for Swiss International Airlines. It's often ranked among the best airports in Europe. This POAP was minted in 2026 as part of a campaign to offer precious digital collectibles to travellers around the world.

In 2026, the beloved ritual of receiving an inked passport stamp at a country’s port of entry is fading into the rearview mirror. Much of North America and Asia-Pacific stopped issuing stamps years ago, and Europe’s Schengen region is now transitioning to a fully digital, biometric entry-and-exit system, leaving travelers without a physical reminder of where they’ve been. The POAP Airport Rally offers a way to reconnect with that tradition. Starting January 1st 2026, travelers can mint a unique, commemorative POAP using POAP’s GPS minting feature at over 100 participating airports around the world. Each POAP carries artwork that is unique to that airport, and a special piece of trivia to help travelers connect with the places they are passing through. This POAP is distributed via POAP Airship, and serves as one of the qualifying tokens that unlocks participation in the POAP Airport Rally.
