Artist David Hu entered the NFT space in May 2021 and is the creator behind Max the Miata, a cartoon car. One of David’s favorite cars is the first-generation Mazda RX-7, which inspired his cartoon character Rex. As a celebration of the annual 7’s Day—July 7—David created this POAP to share with Max’s fans. Happy 7’s Day!

This POAP celebrates the first 1500 fans and supporters of Max the Miata on Instagram! Artist and designer David Hu published the first Max webcomic on January 9, 2017, in a simple, 3-panel format. Max was inspired by David’s love for cars, comics, and toys. In May 2021, Max entered the NFT world and his community ballooned from 300-plus to 1500. This is quite a feat for a little cartoon character, and David thanks all of his followers for their continued support and enthusiasm for Max. Onwards!

This POAP is part of the “Build-A-Max” game created by @max.the.miata! The rules of the game: - There are 5 rounds of POAPS in total, with each round containing 5 different POAPS for players to collect. There are 20 copies of each POAP, which means a maximum of 100 players can play in each round. - During each round, each player must select one—AND ONLY ONE—POAP to collect. If you collect more than 1 POAP during any of the rounds into a single wallet, then that wallet will be disqualified. - At the end of the 5 rounds, if your wallet contains 1 POAP from each round—5 in total—you will be airdropped a customized, Polygon NFT created from your collection. - If your wallet contains fewer than 5 POAPS, then you will not receive a customized NFT, but of course the POAPS are yours to keep and enjoy as a memorabilia for participating!
