The first game of Week 3 of the USFL continued in Birmingham, Alabama with the Tampa Bay Bandits vs Houston Gamblers.

The inaugural season of the USFL kicked off April 16 in Birmingham, Alabama with the New Jersey Generals vs Birmingham Stallions.
