The Museum of Contemporary Digital Art invites you to the opening of the group show "Do Not Touch" (9 April-26 June 2022) in the DCL University Campus featuring works by Sasha Katz, Baron Lanteigne and Martina Menegon. The exhibition is curated by Marie Chatel and Filippo Lorenzin who will be taking you on a virtual and interactive tour in conversation with the artists.

Whether it is music, dance, or art forms of any kind, creatives often pay homage to their idols through their works. Pharaoh Sistare is an up-and-coming artist whose musical style, paired with his love for fashion and dance, pays tribute to some of the greatest artist, and performers who ever lived. Raised in Richmond, Virginia, Pharaoh Sistare’s upbringing was a colorful one as he was surrounded by artists whose music would leave a lasting impact on his musical style. Picking up after Michael Jackson, Prince, and James Brown. Pharaoh Sistare’s love for Golden Age movies found its way into his brand. Fred Astaire and Bob Fosse, in particular, brought another dimension to his love for dance and cinematography. He would later find himself in music production, creating beats for other artists. However, he decided to forge his own path in the music industry. Pharaoh Sistare attracted a following, with many listeners comparing him to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. His voice, style, youthful appearance, and angelic aura made it easy for people to draw comparisons. Additionally, Pharaoh’s long love for dance and studying from the greats. “On the other hand, people say I’m the next Prince,” he shared. “Due to my style, singing, the fact that I produce my own music, and my genre fluidity.”
