On 3/5/22, Michael Unbroken shared his incredible life story with the Melon Minds community. As a kid, Michael experienced trauma which had a negative influence on his mental health and his self-confidence. For many years, those traumatic experiences negatively influenced his life until he made the decision to move past it and become unbroken. Michael was not only able to break the chains of trauma but also use those experiences to help others do the same. Years of hard work and conscious decisions to be better led Michael to become a speaker, entrepreneur, podcaster, and author. He now runs his Think Unbroken where he is dedicated to help childhood trauma victims get unstuck, love themselves and heal. He provided information aimed at helping beginner and intermediate lifters 'level-up' and become more efficient in their weight-lifting careers. Tort touched on how often to train, how to train, how to fuel your body correctly, how to recovery efficiently and also provided additional resources to high-quality YouTube channels focused on weight-lifting. Michal shared what to do and what not to do to help optimize your sleeping for a better nights sleep. He explained the effects that light, temperature, food, and supplements can have on your sleep in addition to how to set up a morning and nightly routine for success. Following the keynote, Michal answered questions from the audience and went into further details about sleep and the body. Michal also provided an outline to his keynote that includes additional resources on each of the topics he spoke about.
