The Ethereum Mainnet merged with the Beacon Chain proof-of-stake network on September 15, 2022. This marks the end of proof-of-work for Ethereum and a full transition to proof-of-stake. This historic upgrade is projected to reduce the Ethereum network's energy consumption by over 99% and sets the stage for future upgrades to further scale the Ethereum network. Holders of this POAP were there to witness the Ethereum Mainnet Merge with the rest of the community and signaled their support to the core developers of this enormous undertaking by sending roughly $10 of ETH to the Protocol DAO, directly funding protocol contributors. This POAP was created by FVCKRENDER to commemorate to "ceasefire" between Beanie and Farokh, after the Great Twitter Feud of 2021. The artwork is meant to represent unity in a small space where we should all be building together rather than fighting one another. The message is clear and simple, you don't have to align with everyone, but you don't need to bring one another down, to build and to win.

I was there, watching as dozens of Cool Cats were taken away to new homes on September 23, 2021. The discord sales channel basically broke and the fellow cats were cheering "LFGGGGGGGG."

The is an exclusive event for each Absurd Arboretum Forest Forager to co-create 14 unique trees in our Discord server. These collective trees will later be displayed on Infinite Objects digital frames. This is one of the first co-creation events in the NFT space of its kind, where community members collectively participate in the creation of digital assets that simultaneously exist on the Ethereum blockchain and are manifested physically. This event is only possible with the support of our Forest Foragers in the community and the openness of the Infinite Objects team.
