AGIP14 Snapshot Voter POAP Polygon has been a huge reason behind the success of Aavegotchi. Super low transaction fees paid in MATIC have enabled the team to build a game where there is lots of activity happening on-chain such as petting, bid to earn auctions, Baazaar sales, and storage of the Aavegotchi game art. The FRENS Taask Force recommends enabling a FRENS incentive to be paid for the GHST-MATIC LP pair on their AMM. A play-to-earn game called Sunflower Farmers launched on polygon with no anti-bot features, effectively allowing a DDOS attack on the polygon network. This caused gas to spike to insane GWEI levels for polygon. We made it through to the other side though, and only a few gotchis missed their pets.
