The festivities kick off with a limited edition capsule collection in partnership with the internationally acclaimed Grammy Award winning sensation, Yotuel Romero, lead singer of Orisha’s, born in Havana, Cuba circa 1999 and known for their musical style infusing contemporary Latin and Afro-American hip hop with traditional Cuban sounds. Cubavera has also commissioned renowned Cuban fine artist, Tony Mendoza to create vibrant pop-art inspired by Cuban heritage and culture. Hailing from Camden, Desta French is already making a lot of noise in the UK music industry thanks to her unique blend of future R&B and Latin! She released her debut single 'Shame', which accumulated over 1 million plays on Spotify and got extensive radio play in Colombia, where she was also interviewed by Julio Sanches Cristo, one of the most highly recognized journalists in Latin America. One of those talents that doesn’t come very often, she has the expertise and the swag to match it. In 2020 she released her latest video “Tabaco Y Ron,” a homage to the music that shaped her upbringing.

The partnership was born in 2016, when the two London-based guitarists came together for a concert and discovered a like-minded approach to music. Their musical connection has developed with each meeting since. They share a respect of jazz traditions but also a love of expanding these to incorporate elements from folk and electronic music, as well as ambient styles and free improvisation. Together, they’ve built a unique, intimate setup and found a way of conversing that’s equally unassuming and thought-provoking.
