This week’s Community Hour featured all the usual action—meme challenge, tournaments, and ecosystem updates—hosted by Danny, Myz Julz, and Josiah. We also gave a first look at our activation at FWBFest 2025 (Aug 1–3), where we’ll be issuing special IRL POAPs for festival-goers who find us under the pines. Come for the vibes, stay for the microchains ⛓️🌲🎾
This week’s Community Hour was hosted by our community mods Josiah and Myz Julz (Danny’s on vacation!), featuring all the usual fun—meme challenge, game tournaments, and community updates. We also shared an exciting preview of our upcoming presence at FWB FEST (Aug 1–3 in Idyllwild, CA), and encouraged folks to meet the team IRL for special on-site POAPs. ⛓️
This week’s Community Hour covered all the usual programs—meme challenge, game tournaments, and ecosystem updates—hosted by Danny alongside Myz Julz and Josiah. We also touched on the momentum of “crypto summer,” including Bitcoin’s new all-time highs, developments in the broader blockchain world like Coinbase’s new Base App, and our engineering team’s offsite in Poland as they build what’s next for Linera’s hyper-modular protocol ⛓️
This week’s Community Hour POAP celebrates an in-depth focus on DeFi on Linera, following our Tuesday Developer Workshop featuring founder Mathieu Baudet, host Danny Greene, and community builder Zhao KK. We explored how Linera’s microchain architecture unlocks ultra-low-latency, end-to-end secure DeFi—including RFQs, real-time orderbooks, peer-to-peer swaps, and auction-style protocols—all scalable via user-owned and temporary chains. We also continued our Games on Microchains challenge and shared updates from the Linera ecosystem.

This week’s Community Hour POAP celebrates our ongoing Games on Microchains developer challenge—we reviewed early submissions and highlighted the creative ways builders are using Linera’s reactive, microchains-based architecture to power onchain games. We also spotlighted our latest Drops campaign encouraging the community to tweet “gmicrochains” to earn XP and rise on the leaderboard. As always, we shared updates on developer workshops, game tournaments, and community happenings. Thanks for staying early with Linera ⛓️
Linera | Community Call — May 1st, 2025

This POAP commemorates our May 1st, 2025 Community Hour celebrating the launch of Drops, Linera’s new social points program. We walked through how to earn XP by completing quests, making referrals, and engaging socially—all as part of Testnet Babbage. Climb the leaderboard, invite your frens, and help shape the real-time blockchain.
This week’s Community Hour POAP was again claimable live via secret word! We shared updates on the Games on Microchains builder challenge, other active game tournaments, and the latest meme challenge. We also celebrated major momentum from our Drops campaign, including an all-time high in Twitter followers (+46K!) and over 152,000 submissions. Huge welcome to all our new Linerans joining the real-time blockchain revolution ⛓️
This POAP commemorates Linera’s Testnet Babbage launch—the second major milestone in our testnet rollout. Building on the success of Archimedes, Babbage introduces powerful upgrades including a trustless web client, configurable PoW microchains, and Ethereum-compatible signatures, pushing Linera closer to its vision of real-time, user-centric blockchain infrastructure. During our April 17th AMA, Linera founder Mathieu Baudet was joined by key validator partners to discuss the technical advances in SDK v0.14, the role of AI-integrated oracles, and our evolving roadmap. Attendees got a firsthand look at the future of scalable microchain apps and Linera’s bold steps toward mainnet.

The address which minted this POAP participated in the KZG Summoning Ceremony: a publicly coordinated ritual to produce a random output. This output will be used in Proto-Danksharding, aka EIP 4844: an Ethereum scaling mechanism which will hopefully enable lower Layer 2 fees and greater global accessibility. EIP-4844 is expected to go live with the Dencun network upgrade in the near future. As of the time of writing, this ceremony was the largest setup of this kind when considering the number of contributions.
