Historical NFTs not only hold value but also tell the story of our past and how technology has shaped our culture. We must preserve our digital history otherwise it may be lost forever. The magnitude of the moment that we are living through can not be overstated. Future historians will refer to events in terms of being before and after digital assets. Many HNFT collectors are holding future museum centerpieces without even knowing it. Preserving our cultural heritage for future generations is crucial. The Historical NFT museum - serves as a space where communities can collaborate and come together, sharing in this shared vision. Through seasonal exhibits and events, participants in this metaverse gallery can interact with each other creating stronger bonds within the NFT space. This showcase of art and history can then also be translated into real life gallery exhibits, creating a bridge between the traditional art world and web3.

The HNFT Museum highlights the work of 25+ NFT communities from 2011 to 2019 and is a community based initiative curated by the CryptoSkulls DAO. It is our responsibility to not only tell our Skull story but to also create a platform that gives our friends in other historical NFT communities a voice. Series 2 Guest - CryptoPunks V1 POAP for HNFT Museum Launched in June of 2017 by Larva Labs (IP acquired by Yuga Labs in 2022) CryptoPunks is one of the first NFT collections on the Ethereum blockchain. It consists of 10,000 unique 24×24 pixel art images. There are currently two versions of the CryptoPunks contract. “V1” is the term used to describe the original smart contract released by LarvaLabs on June 9th, 2017, and “V2” is the term used to describe the follow-up (or replacement) smart contract released by LarvaLabs on June 23, 2017, with Punks airdropped to the original V1 claimants. V2 are the “Official” CryptoPunks as recognized by Larva Labs - and later by Yuga Labs - and are the only Punks that currently retain any IP or other rights granted by Yuga Labs. Historical NFT Museum Launch 2023 At Crypto Skulls DAO, we are collaborating with over 20+ different historical nft projects to create a movement that people want to get behind. We believe that in order to create the future, we must understand our past. The Historical NFT Museum serves as a web3 virtual gallery where the historical communities can collaborate and come together, sharing in a common passion for historical NFTs. Through seasonal exhibits and events, participants can learn about early (2011-2019) NFT projects while interacting with each other.
