It’s been a turbulent week for crypto, with RPL and other altcoins continuing to struggle as the token price hovers near $5. Rocket Pool has released v1.13.10 of the Smart Node, a recommended update featuring important bug fixes, client updates, and minor enhancements. This version includes updates to Geth, Besu, Reth, Teku, Nimbus, and Nethermind, along with new MEV-Boost support for the Holesky testnet and optimizations for oDAO RPC calls. Additional improvements include Reth peer parameter controls, cleanup for V10, and fixes to various issues. Rocket Pool node operators that were the first to upgrade received a POAP. This month's POAP was designed by talented Icelandic community member IcelandCalling.eth.

Rocket Pool has released v1.13.8 of the Smart Node. Smart Node 1.13.8 adds contribution guidelines, flags bloXroute Max Profit relay as censoring, supports configuring Nethermind's pruning, and auto-initializes voting power. It also removes the Eden Relay, improves voting command text, and adds a warning for uninitialized voting power during staking after the hotfix. Rocket Pool node operators that updated swiftly received a POAP.

Rocket Pool released v1.13.6 of the Smart Node, a recommended update for all users. This version includes important client updates, bug fixes, and new features. Node operators's can now use the command 'rocketpool pdao set-signalling-address' to connect your node voting power to the address that will be used to vote on Snapshot. Node operators that updated within 48 hours were given a POAP.

The Rocket Pool community hosted a special event from Saturday, June 1, 2024, 12:00 AM EST to Thursday, June 6, 2024, 1:30 AM EST, where participants received a unique POAP by posting their transaction of buying RPL. Additionally, the top 5 buyers had their names featured on the POAP.

v1.12.1 of Rocket Pool's Smart Node has been released! 🔶 Tons of clients (Lighthouse, Teku, Nimbus, etc) have been updated and a few Smart Node features have been added such as notifications and an updated RPL reward panel. The infamous "smartnode" term has been updated to "Smart Node" Users that updated their Smart Node version within 24 hours and post a screenshot received a POAP!
